Pressence

Sometimes clarity begins when we allow ourselves to look at things differently.

Coaching creates space to explore what matters in this moment — without the need for immediate answers.

What is coaching?

A process that helps you hear yourself more clearly.

Coaching is a confidential, development-focused process that creates space for reflection, exploration and greater clarity.

It does not provide ready-made solutions, nor does it direct you from the outside.

It offers an opportunity to create distance from the pace of everyday life, external expectations and familiar patterns of behaviour, so that you can view your situation with greater perspective and clarity.

Through conversation, we explore questions that can help you understand your situation more clearly, recognise recurring patterns and identify what is truly important to you.

This can include questions such as:

The purpose is not to find a perfect answer, but to develop greater clarity, deeper awareness and the ability to choose more consciously.

My philosophy

What if the answer is already there?

I believe we often know more than we realise.

At times, that knowing can be blurred by fear, familiar patterns, expectations, past experiences, or identities that may once have served us but no longer support us in the same way.

For me, change begins with awareness.

Once we can see something clearly, we can begin to relate to it differently.

And with a new perspective, different choices begin to emerge.

What coaching is not

My role is not to tell you how to live your life.

Coaching is not:

As a coach, I do not take the position of someone who knows your life better than you do.

I am there to support the exploration, not to set the direction. The choices remain yours.

How I work

The goal is only part of the story.

Goals matter, but they rarely tell us everything. Beyond the goal, I am interested in who you are in relation to it — how you think, what you feel, what matters to you, which patterns keep returning, and what happens when things become difficult or unclear.

I listen not only to what is said, but also to what appears between the words — recurring themes, subtle shifts, and moments that may reveal more than is immediately obvious.

Sometimes, that is where the most valuable questions begin. Not so I can tell you what something means, but so we can explore what it means for you.

Coaching then becomes more than a conversation about a goal. It becomes an exploration of your relationship with it — what shapes your choices, what influences your responses, and what it may reveal about the way you think, react and decide.

Presence and listening

What stays between the words matters too.

In my work I do not listen only to the content.

I also pay attention to repeated words, shifts in tone, feelings, energy, silence, and the moments when something in the conversation changes.

Sometimes the question worth exploring lies exactly there.

Not so that I can tell you what something means.

But so that together we can look at what it means to you.

Working together

01

Introductory conversation

The first conversation is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to coaching, what you need at this stage, and what you would like to gain from the process.

I will also introduce my way of working and answer any questions you may have. The purpose is to see whether working together feels right for both of us.

02

Defining the focus

Together, we clarify what you would like to focus on in the coaching process.

Sometimes the goal is clear from the beginning. At other times, the real question only becomes visible through conversation. Both are a natural part of the process.

03

Coaching sessions

The sessions are based on conversation, attentive listening, reflection and questions.

As we work together, we explore your thinking, responses, values, recurring patterns and possibilities that may gradually become clearer.

04

From insight to practice

The coaching process does not end with the conversation itself.

We also explore what your insights may mean in practice and how you want to apply them to your decisions and everyday life.

05

Reviewing the process

Throughout the process, we reflect on what is changing, what is proving helpful, and what may need a different kind of attention.

The process adapts to you — not the other way around.

Confidentiality and ethics

A professional relationship begins with clear boundaries.

Coaching conversations are confidential. It is important to me to create a safe and respectful environment in which you can explore your thoughts, dilemmas and decisions openly.

Confidentiality, clear agreements, professional boundaries and respect for your autonomy are fundamental to the coaching relationship.

My responsibility is not to make decisions for you or define what is right for you. I want you to have a clear understanding of what you can expect from coaching, what falls within my responsibility, and what remains yours.

Responsible coaching also means working within clear professional boundaries, reflecting regularly on my practice, and recognising when a different form of professional support may be more appropriate for your situation. If coaching is not the right fit, I will address this openly and, where appropriate, recommend another form of professional service.

Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical care or other professional support.

You may not need the answer just yet.
Perhaps clarity needs a little space first.

Our first conversation gives us a chance to meet and explore whether my approach feels right for you.
